Common questions

Do I need a firearms licence to join?+

No. Foundations is a beginner pathway — no licence, no firearm and no experience required. We help you understand what the licence process looks like and what your next real-world step could be.

Do I need to own a rifle or any gear?+

No gear required. We cover what to look for in rifles, calibres, clothing, boots, knives and safe storage so you can make confident decisions later without wasting money.

Is it online or in person?+

Fully online via Microsoft Teams — 4 live Tuesday evening sessions, 7:00–8:30pm AEST, starting 13 October 2026. Replays are available if you miss one.

When does the next Foundations Course start?+

The next intake starts Tuesday 13 October 2026, 7:00–8:30pm AEST, and runs weekly for 4 weeks. Each intake is capped at 10–15 women.

Is this only for women in NSW?+

No — women anywhere in Australia are welcome. We cover NSW R-Licence and public land specifically, plus private land and mentored pathways that apply nationally.

What if I can't make a live session?+

Every session is recorded and replays are shared with the group so you can catch up in your own time.
